Sales Engineer - Software & Technical Integrations

Technical Sales | SaaS | Fintech | APIs | Client Onboarding

Role Summary

Join Triumph as a Sales Engineer and help customers succeed by bridging the gap between technology and business needs. You'll support sales teams, lead client onboarding, and ensure smooth technical integrations for software and SaaS solutions.

Day in the Life

As a Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in technical sales support, guiding customers through the software integration process and ensuring a seamless client onboarding experience. You'll collaborate with sales teams on complex solutions, work closely with customer IT and technical staff, and be on-site during implementations to make sure every project goes live successfully. From designing integrations to troubleshooting issues, you'll be the trusted technical expert who ensures customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support senior sales engineers through integration and onboarding processes

  • Partner with sales, operations, and integrations teams to design solutions that meet business needs

  • Work directly with customer technical teams to secure buy-in and ensure smooth launches

  • Create, test, and support custom integrations for new clients

  • Provide coaching to sales associates on technical knowledge and solution selling

  • Spot and pursue additional opportunities to grow customer relationships

  • Manage projects with attention to detail, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, sales engineering, or project management

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • A quick learner with a passion for technology and integrations

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Experience or interest in payments, software, SaaS, APIs, or fintech solutions

  • Energetic, entrepreneurial mindset with a customer-first focus
