A Taste of What You'll Do

Embark on an exciting career journey with us as an Account Executive - Customer Development On Premise, where you will play a key role in the growth and distribution of Gallo brands within regional and national hotel chains and restaurant accounts. We are seeking a proactive individual who can develop and manage business opportunities for key catering accounts, employing direct account management strategies to foster success.

In this role, you'll craft tailored business plans for your assigned accounts, analyzing market and sales data to identify lucrative opportunities. Your leadership, communication, and presentation skills will shine as you promote positive relationships across the organization and distributor network. You'll be pivotal in communicating program elements within the Winery and distributor organizations, ensuring seamless integration and execution.

Managing forecasting and budgeting processes will be part of your responsibilities, along with developing compelling programs for both internal and external partners. You will also conduct sales training sessions for the winery and distributor sales force, and customer wait-staff, enhancing wine education and expertise. Your ability to coordinate with other Winery support areas will be crucial in achieving market success.

As a spokesperson for Gallo Fine Wine brands, you'll participate in key wine functions and special events, such as association meetings, festivals, and high-profile tastings, within your assigned sub-channels. What You'll Need

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate
  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or Certificate and 10 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated Distributor, CPG sales/account management, retail or on premise sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
  • Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
