A Taste of What You'll Do

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Forklift Operator, where your skills and dedication will drive our success in maintaining an efficient and safe production environment. As a valued team member, you'll be responsible for operating a clamp or forklift to handle a variety of essential tasks, including picking customer orders, loading and unloading trucks and rail cars, and organizing finished goods.

In this position, you'll be at the heart of our operations, performing computer-based tasks such as data entry and updating work orders using our Warehouse Management System. You'll work closely with a diverse team, striving to meet department goals and individual performance metrics, while actively communicating the status of work in progress. Your keen attention to detail will ensure inventory accuracy as you scan product labels, perform cycle counts, and make necessary inventory adjustments.

Your role will not only involve executing instructions and inspecting packages for compliance but also promoting a positive work environment and embracing change. We value professionalism, urgency, and teamwork, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve cost reduction and enhance customer service.

Safety is paramount, and you'll adhere to safe operating procedures, supporting safety programs to protect yourself, your teammates, and company property. You'll be responsible for understanding and applying content from technical training manuals, and you'll even contribute to the improvement of our training materials.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year previous forklift, clamp lift or heavy machinery operations experience.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Required to work overtime as needed.
  • Required to work any assigned shift.
  • Required to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to re-certify Clamp Driver skills attained as required.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions of the job.
  • Must be able to operate and utilize the computerized inventory system.
  • Accepts constructive feedback and alters behavior accordingly.
  • Required to pass in-house clamp lift and forklift skills tests.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

SHIFT: Assignment will be on one of the following: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30p - Midnight | 3rd Shift: Sunday night - Friday morning, 11:30p - 8:00a | 2-2-3 Schedule - every other weekend, 5:30p - 6:00a
