Senior Requirement Engineer
Contingent upon prime contractor approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Senior Requirement Engineer locatedin Huntsville, AL.
- In this role you will analyze software to support hardware or technical service products of a major DoD System. You will be involved in reviews of the system architecture and advise in implementation of appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance
Job Description:
- Develop and Manage Weapons System Requirements.
- Conduct Requirement Analysis and Trade Studies.
- Manage Requirement Traceability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders from Government, Support contractors, Prime personnel, and Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC).
Qualifications:
- Must have Master's degree and at least 12 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 20 years of experience.
- Must have DOORS experience.
- Must have knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) and Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) systems preferred.
- Experience working in CAMEO preferred.
- STEM degree preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active DoD Secret Security clearance, and the ability to maintain clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional Travel- less than 10%
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (no later than position start date) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
