Position Title: Executive Director of Enterprise Projects
Location: Statesboro, GA (Onsite required, with approximately 25% travel to Athens, GA) Summary:
The Executive Director of Enterprise Projects is a strategic leadership role within the IT Executive Leadership team, responsible for overseeing the coordination of enterprise-level projects. This position ensures alignment with organizational goals and facilitates timely engagement with local stakeholders. The Executive Director will primarily oversee project activities, guide change management adoption, and support the implementation and optimization of enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day coordination of enterprise-level project activities, ensuring alignment with Unified ERP goals and institutional priorities.
Facilitate engagement with local stakeholders to support the success of enterprise initiatives.
Lead strategic planning efforts, including operational improvements and professional development guidance.
Support IT Change Management strategy and adoption across enterprise projects.
Collaborate with business units outside of IT (finance, HR, academic departments) to ensure project alignment.
Develop and maintain project management methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and manage data strategies, including tools, resource growth, and strategic priorities.
Monitor industry benchmarks to ensure national effectiveness and best practices.
Perform additional duties as required to support the University's mission.
Requirements:
Proven experience overseeing enterprise-level projects
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work on-site in Statesboro, GA, with approximately 25% travel to Athens, GA.
Higher education experience is preferred.
