The Reliability Technician is responsible for monitoring and improving the reliability of fixed plant and process equipment using predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies. This role involves collecting and analyzing equipment data, preparing reports, and making recommendations to reduce failures, improve runtime, and increase asset utilization and OEE. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct predictive maintenance analysis on equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, gearboxes, piping systems). Perform inspections, gather field data, and document findings in formal reports. Lead and support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify and resolve issues. Maintain and update equipment data, task instructions, and maintenance plans in SAP/CMMS and PdM software. Collaborate with operations and leadership to design improvements that enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Experience and Skills
Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) 3-5 years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or mechanical roles Hands-on knowledge of fixed equipment Familiarity with predictive maintenance (PdM) tools such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, or ultrasound Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and troubleshooting equipment issues Proficiency with SAP/CMMS for equipment data management and maintenance planning Strong technical reporting and documentation skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and PdM software tools Problem-solving mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
