This is a fully remote position. The Sales Account Executive (reporting to the SVP - Growth), will be responsible for building and executing a pipeline of highly qualified sales leads in the Travel and Tourism-focused domain (Airports, Airlines, Seaports, Terminals, etc.), leveraging our industry-leading veriScanTM Biometric Solution. The candidate will have pre-existing relationships within the travel and tourism industry and actively engage prospects to close deals.
What you will do
- Set Sales Goals in collaboration with the Head of Growth and commercial delivery/implementation team
- Develop a Pipeline:
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities, mature prospect relationships, structure a mutually beneficial sales agreement, and service the client in tandem with Operations/Delivery to capitalize on opportunities to expand the relationship
- Conduct market assessments to guide your sales engagement strategy
- Identify and mature highly qualified leads
- Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track pipeline progression, robustness, viability, and maturity
- Prospect and generate leads - able to
- Negotiating deals - Collaborating with clients to secure contracts and agreements
- Engage Prospects:
- Execute your call plan and actively engage prospects
- Craft a value-added proposition aligned to customer needs
- Mature opportunities into a buying event
- Close Deals:
- Secure customer commitments and transition to Operations/Delivery
- Cross-Functional Opportunities:
- While our Biometric Entry/Exit solution will be your primary focus, you will also be afforded the opportunity to sell our other customized and mature solutions to customers when appropriate; Public Safety and FedGov opportunities
- Customer Satisfaction
- Leverage Bigbear.ai 's already mature technology and delivery excellence while maintaining relationships with existing customers and addressing their needs
What you need to have
- 10 years or more selling technical solutions to customers in the Travel and Tourism sectors
- Problem-solving skills utilizing biometric and AI-based solutions while understanding the interaction with other Airport/Airline solutions
- Knowledge of Aviation (Airports/Airlines) biometrics-based processes and implementation standards
- Demonstrated experience achieving corporate sales quotas
- Comprehensive understanding of the commercially focused sales cycle
- Extensive experience utilizing CRM to execute sales
- Strong verbal communication skills and prior experience briefing executives
- Willingness to travel to client sites

Aviation organization affiliations (ACI-NA/World, AAAE, ACC Committees) Familiarity with technical infrastructure requirements to enable the implementation of biometric solutions Experience leading cross-functional teams to produce winning proposals Experience leveraging B2B tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)
