We are looking for a Content Designer who is both hands-on and system-minded! This is a fully remote, 40 hours/week project for approximately 4 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design reusable templates, patterns, and style guides that ensure knowledge is consistent, trustworthy, and scalable. - Write and edit SOPs, work instructions, and reference guides that turn complex information into clear, user-friendly content. - Apply structure, tagging, and metadata so knowledge stays organized and easy to retrieve. - Refactor existing documentation to simplify language, eliminate duplication, and align with standards. - Partner with teams to capture knowledge and with architects to ensure alignment across larger frameworks. - Develop contributor-friendly guidance and training that empowers others to create high-quality content. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in content design, technical writing, UX writing, or knowledge management. - Proven ability to create templates, reusable patterns, or style guides. - Strong editing skills, being able to simplify without sacrificing accuracy. - Familiarity with knowledge and content tools (e.g., Confluence, Zendesk Guide, Contentful, Airtable, Coda, Google Workspace). - A collaborative communicator who enjoys working with non-writers to shape content. The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $40-$55 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
