Intermediate Software Developer

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Intermediate Software Developer to support MDA. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• On-site position to develop and maintain new & legacy toolsets for physics-based MDA Flight and Ground Test analysis.
• Work with others in a small team environment (requires self-motivation).
• Communicate with both analysts & Government customers.
• Translate user requests into software requirements.
• Address quick-reaction tasks to support an accelerated timeline to support on-going mission analysis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.
• C# programming experience.
• Modeling and simulation, and data analysis-focused experience.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with any of the following: SQL, Entity Framework, MATLAB, C++, WPF, MVVM, 3D visualization, Azure, and/or cloud.
• Comfortable working multiple roles and multiple projects.
• Physics or Engineering background.
