Position Summary: Information and Configuration Management (ICM) Configuration Audit Specialist position supporting the Exploration Ground Systems (LX) Program, Planning and Control office. Description of Duties: Duties will include development of processes and procedures for configuration management, data analysis and tracking, document preparation, and data/information management. Apply Information and Configuration Management (includes Data Management) processing principles, methods, and practices; quality assurance principles; technical documentation methods and procedures; systems security methods and procedures; analytical methods; and oral and written communication techniques sufficient to maintain information management system(s) to meet customer requirements. Will review and edit highly complex written and graphical technical materials, including system configuration, studies, reports, and other presentation graphics. Participate in auditing activities to include, but not limited to business audits, functional configuration audits, physical configuration audits, integrated configuration audits and certifications of flight hardware processing, and general process audits. Candidate will be responsible for direct adherence to established guidelines, procedures and policies. Candidate may act as a secretariat scheduling, running, hosting the ICM working group and milestone meetings through Microsoft Teams / WebEx, documenting minutes, action items, and tracking actions to closure. Education:
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and experience in configuration management, data management, business or a related field.
Level of experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in configuration management of which 4 years were related in performing functional and physical configuration audits, data analysis and tracking, document preparation, and data/information management and processing of flight hardware.
