Role & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the escalation point for complex IT issues from Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians.
- Provide advanced support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and support desktop hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365, email, VPN, remote access, and common business applications.
- Assist with user account administration in Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange, and other identity platforms.
- Document and maintain detailed records of incidents, requests, and resolutions using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Participate in and occasionally lead projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.
- Mentor and train junior help desk staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, security standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Coordinate with other IT teams (network, systems, cybersecurity) as needed to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Experience working on Windows Server for basic troubleshooting - DNS, DHCP, GPOs, file/print services, and endpoint security.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, with at least 1-2 years at a senior or Tier 2/3 level.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Teams, and remote desktop tools.
- Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android) and MDM solutions.
- Proficient with Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, and file permissions.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and endpoint deployment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft M365, ITIL, or equivalent.
- Exposure to scripting (PowerShell) and automation a plus.
