We Require
- Two years of clerical accounting, bookkeeping, or specialized administrative experience
- High school diploma or GED
We Also Value
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience with payroll systems
- Experience working with Excel Pivot Tables
- Three or more years of accounting experience
- Experience with accounts reconciliation
- Experience working with the Advantage Financial System
- Experience as a Certified Agency Procurement Aide (CAPA) or other procurement training/certification
Job Contributions
- Serves as a Certified Agency Procurement Aide (CAPA) and orders supplies in accordance with CAPA guidelines
- Maintains Procurement card logs by entering and balancing account data, compiling documentation, and generating statistical summary reports as required
- Processes invoices for payment in the Advantage Financial System
- Communicates regularly, in writing and verbally, with department personnel, vendors, and customers
- Reconciles Accounts
- Provides support for the library district payroll, conducting audits and assisting managers and employees in the payroll process
- Verifies invoice pricing against contract pricing
- Serves as a liaison between the department and vendors in the resolution of invoice/account problems and inquiries
Working Conditions
- This position is eligible for hybrid flexibility after a brief training period
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time
- Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
