Summary of the Job:

The Customer Solutions Specialist (CSS) is responsible for addressing the needs of internal and external customers via incoming calls, fax, e-mail or online requests for information about commercial loan or lease accounts. Such requests would include payoff calculations, balance information and telephone payments, as well as securing and maintaining adequate proof of insurance per the customer's contract requirements. CSS is also responsible for account UCC processing which includes customer documentation, filing, receipt verification, terminations and partial releases, The Customer Solutions Specialist reports to the Customer Solutions Manager.

About This Role:

1. Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner & scan and index file information into Sentry File

2. Provide requested account information, answer general customer service questions and resolve account issues on accounts not related to collection or legal activity in accordance with DFS policies and procedures.
3. Provide payoff calculation information, credit references, enter telephone payments in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with DFS policies and procedures.
4. Secure and maintain adequate proof of physical damage insurance for financed equipment and proof of liability coverage on designated leases, enter insurance mail and scan required proof of insurance in accordance with DFS policies and procedures.

5. Process UCC's including amendments, continuations, requesting/obtaining driver's licenses, terminations, lien searches and partial releases and then document UCC information in InfoLease or Rapport, scanning any necessary copies into Sentry File for future use or retrieval.

6. Other duties and projects as assigned.
7. Exhibits professional behavior, conscientious about punctuality & attendance, demonstrates strong commitment to customer service and promotes positive working relationships.

8. Understands and adheres to all company policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Required:

  • * High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • * Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • * Pleasant demeanor
  • * Ability to Multi-task
  • * High attention to detail
  • * Familiarity in navigating a PC, Word & Excel

Preferred:

  • * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Ag Business or related field
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
