We are seeking an IT Senior PMO Portfolio Manager to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely after the training period. The IT Senior PMO Portfolio Manager is a critical role for overseeing management and execution of Regency Centers' IT project portfolio. This role will think like a business partner first, project manager second. You will work closely with various stakeholders including senior management, project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment between project objectives, resources and business goals. Your role will involve strategic planning, project prioritization, resource allocation, risk management and performance tracking. Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of project management methodologies and best practices.


What You'll Be Doing:


Portfolio Strategist / Governance Lead
* Oversee Regency's IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and available organizational capacity.
* Lead the intake, prioritization and sequencing of IT projects while balancing business value, risk and resource constraints.
* Drive portfolio-level reporting and visibility for executive leadership, highlighting status, dependencies and key risks.
* Establish and enforce governance processes for project approval, change control and status reporting.
* Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Business Platform Governance and business unit leaders. * Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure projects align with the company's application and data architecture strategy and standards.
* Monitor and communicate overall health and progress of the portfolio, identifying issues, risks and interdependencies.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to define and support IT strategic goals.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Senior Project Leader
* Serve as senior escalation point for high-priority projects, ensuring successful delivery and issue resolution.
* Standardize and refine project management methodologies, templates and reporting practices (e.g., waterfall, agile, hybrid). Ensure effective resource planning and forecasting for IT projects.
* Partner with functional leads and IT leadership to manage interdependencies across strategic, foundational, and routine initiatives.
* Contribute to post-project evaluations to measure ROI, identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
Team Manager
* Lead a small team of project managers and/or business analysts, providing coaching, mentorship and performance management.
* Foster a culture of accountability, proactive communication and continuous improvement.
* Develop the team's capability in portfolio reporting, stakeholder management and project execution excellence. * Optimize resource utilization and anticipate capacity needs in collaboration with resource managers and vendors.


Are You Qualified?


Required
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field
* 8+ years of IT project and portfolio management experience, preferably in mid-to-large enterprises
* Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining a project portfolio governance process
* Hands-on experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across the business and IT
* Proficient with project portfolio management (PPM) or work management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira)
* Strong understanding of project financials, ROI and resource planning
* Experience establishing project management methodologies and improving use of supporting tools to establish project management guidelines to promote efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery
* Advanced user experience with Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and related productivity tools
* Awareness of IT infrastructure, software development and system implementation processes


Preferred
* Master's degree
* Project Management Professional certification or equivalent experience
* ITIL certification or equivalent experience
* PMP certification strongly preferred
* Background in solution engineering or application & data architecture is strongly preferred
* Working knowledge and understanding of operational aspects of commercial real estate
