The Customer Order Coordinator creates value for our customers through participation and execution of a customer-centric order fulfillment process. This role collaborates with internal supply and service teams to ensure prompt announcement, ownership, acknowledgement, and processing of customer purchase orders.
Responsibilities: * First level of contact for the following order fulfillment processes for KH and D'Style: * Receives, acknowledges, and distributes new customer purchase orders * Receives, acknowledges, and distributes customer purchase order changes * Processes sales order line-item quantity and price changes and cancellations * Processes customer concessions and invoice credits, then submits for approval * Receives and administers customer purchase orders received through modes of email, online portal, and fax * Works with sales, quoting, account managers, and project managers to resolve questions, discrepancies, or incomplete sales order information * Follows documentation and discipline for customer purchase order processing * Maintains customer purchase order file folders * Updates sales pipeline data in Salesforce when customer purchase orders are received * Suggests and participates in process improvements to successfully support our customers' needs and expectations * Provides backup and supplemental support to Demand Planner role for daily responsibilities Skills to Perform This Role: Communication Skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization * Willingness to listen to others Leadership Skills * Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities * Confident in making decisions Business Skills * Ability to recognize non-value-added activities and promote continuous improvement * Form and maintain relationships within all aspects of the KH and D'Style business * Ability to understand the financial impacts of decisions being made * Strong project management skills Technical Skills * Computer knowledge includes Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Exchange, SYSPRO, and Salesforce The ideal candidate would be located near our Jasper, IN headquarters and work primarily from this location. |
