Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. The Business Development Manager manages the strategic direction and execution of CoreSource global growth initiatives. Actively pursues large business leads and market strategies. Develops new business opportunities for CoreSource that have potential for cross-company flywheel impact. Engages with publishers, industry contacts, and internal colleagues to understand market conditions and shifts. Translates market knowledge into commercial priorities. Develops and informs pricing, business models, and other activities that strengthen the commercial positioning of CoreSource.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years experience in sales and/or business development in book publishing or digital services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling services
  • Strategic planning
  • Project management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partners with management to oversee and execute new business development strategy
  • Meets or exceeds new account growth targets
  • Develops and drives the value proposition of CoreSource via sales and service initiatives
  • Develops reporting that measures opportunities, growth potential, and flywheel impact
  • Identifies potential new opportunities that promote long-term growth and business health
  • Engages new publishing targets and ensures a smooth handover to key account sales managers
  • Interacts with relevant business units to ensure successful product execution
  • Prepares and conducts presentations for leadership as well as prospective and current clients
  • Serves as conduit for all large business development queries, including following up on leads
  • Pursues and executes strategies to enter new markets

Hiring Salary Range:$114,355k -$145,000k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
