About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Sr. Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing and overseeing the portfolio budget and the actual health of strategic investments. The ideal candidate will provide insights and trends on how delivery intersects with labor expenses, monitor resource allocations and resource time keeping across the enterprise portfolio, and help manage resource capacity management capabilities across delivery teams. This position will work within the Axis strategic project delivery framework, applying industry best practices and continuous improvement practices to this position and financial management within the enterprise strategic portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Budget Management:Oversee and manage the portfolio budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Expense Delivery Intersection:Analyze and provide insights on how delivery intersects with expenses, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Resource Allocation Monitoring Support:Support the monitoring of resource allocations across the enterprise portfolio to ensure optimal utilization.

  • Resource Capacity Management Support:Support resource capacity management capabilities to improve forecasting and prediction of resource availability across demand.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure financial transparency and effective resource management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in financial management, portfolio management, or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies (waterfall and Agile) and the tracking of costs associated with delivery.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP.

  • Experience in resource capacity management and forecasting.

Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to:

Embrace the hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per week.

Much of the work involves using computers for data entry, analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is necessary.

While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as attending meetings or accessing filing systems.

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $115,000 - $150,000 for New York and New Jersey. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.

Where this role is based in the United States of America, this role is Exempt for FLSA purposes.
