Job Description: RED Postdoctoral Fellow
BioMarin is a world leader in delivering therapeutics that provide meaningful advances to patients who live with serious or life-threatening rare genetic diseases. We target diseases that lack effective therapies and affect relatively small numbers of patients, many of whom are children. These conditions are often inherited, difficult to diagnose, progressively debilitating and have few, if any, treatment options. BioMarin will continue to focus on advancing therapies that are the first or best of their kind.
The Research and Early Development (RED)organizationat BioMarin conducts trail-blazing research to enable preclinical drugdevelopment for patients with genetic diseases in the:cardiovascular, hematology, musculoskeletal, and centralnervous system therapeutic areas. Our portfolio of pre-clinical, clinical, and commercial molecules includes small molecules, peptide and protein biologics,oligonucleotides and AAV gene therapy. We collaborate with world-class academic investigators and centers and a diversearray of internal partners.
We are currently seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join BioMarin as a Postdoctoral Fellow in one of the following departments within RED:
Research: Musculoskeletal, Hematology, Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Genomics, Gene Editing, Modality, or Animal Resources.
Translational Sciences: Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Immunology, or Bioanalytical Sciences
Fellows will be matched to one department within RED for a two-year term. While gaining research experience, fellows will also have opportunities to learn about other BioMarin business units including Regulatory, Pipeline and portfolio Strategy, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs.

Opportunities for project-based rotations, as appropriate (within or outside of the department) based on the Fellow's interestsand corresponding business needs.
Education Requirements
Completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant scientific disciplinewithin three years of the program start date (June 2026);
no industry experience required.

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 to $126,000. BioMarin considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
