Live Hang/Bird Handler - 1st shift - Earn up to $25 per hour

Job Title: Live Hang/Bird Handler

• Typically hours run from 4:30 a.m. until birds are through for the day
• Monday through Friday and currently some Saturdays

Job Summary: Live Hang is responsible for removing live tom turkeys coups on a semi trailer and placing them on the line for harvesting.

Wage: $21.00 per hour + $4.00 perfect attendance bonus if qualified = $25 per hour

Job Requirements

• No previous experience is necessary.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must adhere to the WLF's and federal law for animal handling practice.
• Start time is 4:30 a.m. until done.
• Must be able to stand on a moving platform with a maximum height of 9 feet.
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist.
• Ability to stand for long periods, including working from a platform.
• Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
