Compensation Grade: H96Compensation Details: Minimum: $25.00 - Maximum: $25.00 HourlyDepartment (OPH) Office of Public HealthJob Description: Responsibilities Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) is an ongoing mail/telephone survey of residents who have recently given birth to a live-born infant. The PRAMS project was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to collect information from residents about behaviors and experiences before, during, and after pregnancy. The goal of the PRAMS project is to provide information to support research and guide policy changes and interventions that improve maternal and infant health and reduce adverse outcomes such as infant low birth weight and maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. PRAMS phone interviews with respondents are essential to maintaining survey response rates and obtaining quality data. The Hourly Interviewer I will be responsible to perform phone interviewing of Spanish-speaking residents; assist with interviewing operations including coordinating with PRAMS staff to schedule and carry out interview appointments; and perform data entry and survey validation activities. The incumbent in this position will work approximately 15-20 hours/week. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in Spanish language. Preferred Qualifications Experience providing clerical and/or administrative support in an office. Experience and/or training in handling confidential and sensitive information. Experience with MS Office. Experience in survey data collection and entry. Conditions of Employment Hourly, grant funded position expected until approximately 08/31/2026. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Telecommuting will be available. This position will require occasional work on weekends, after-hours, and holidays. HRI participates in the E-Verify Program.
