Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a Senior Business and Financial Operations Specialist to support the full spectrum of financial management, accounting, and auditing services for the U.S. Coast Guard SHORE team advancing major acquisition infrastructure projects including piers, hangars, maintenance and storage facilities, asset-specific training facilities and logistics support infrastructure. The contractor shall provide support staff who possess a balanced skill set that includes relevant experience, business/programmatic skills, and the ability to achieve mission objectives quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities



  • Budget Development, Analysis, and Tracking - Gather, analyze, and deliver critical information to help businesses make informed decisions. Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscapes, track funding trends, and provide insights that drive strategic planning and improve business performance.
  • Cost Estimating and Analysis Support - Manage the execution of funding requests with the Budget and Finance Management (BFM) office and meticulously track funds received, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.
  • Cost Performance Risk Assessments - Provide comprehensive internal tracking of funds gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to senior leadership, enabling a thorough understanding of potential financial vulnerabilities.
  • Financial Tracking Throughout a Program's Lifecycle - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, budgetary constraints, and appropriations laws as directed by Congress from initial budget development to final closeout reporting.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Ten years of relevant experience in federal acquisitions and/or financial operations.
  • Eight years of experience with Army or DoD budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Education

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study (Finance, Accounting)

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Work Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week on site at USCG St. Elizabeth Campus, Washington, DC. This position will be considered for REMOTE status.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
