Description

The Director Finance - FP&A at Liberty Diversified International (LDI) partners with business leaders across the LDI family of companies to deliver financial insights that drive strategic decisions. This position primarily supports Enterprise Solutions, which encompasses various corporate functions such as Finance, IT, and HR. The role collaborates with financial and business leaders to execute LDI's strategy by providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis to predict and compare actual versus forecasted results and support enterprise-wide performance and growth.

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) atEnterprise Solutions and is located at LDI Headquarters in New Hope, Minnesota.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the annual Budget process, managing the daily/monthly/annual Financial Reporting processes, and partnering with the CFO to ensure a robust financial forecasting process.
  • Lead processes to ensure Enterprise Solutions have robust financial planning tools to accurately plan for, predict, and report on actual business results versus plans.
  • Prepare executive and board charts that tell the company's financial performance and strategic insights.
  • Lead M&A activities through valuation, modeling, and due diligence.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and compensation analysis and drive acquisition strategy.
  • Analyze variances to budgets/forecast/prior year to help ensure complete and accurate recording of results.
  • Lead and develop a team capable of partnering with the CFO and division Finance teams to create and present financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Manage the enhancement, maintenance and further implementation of the OneStream financial system ensuring data integrity, streamlined reporting, and robust budgeting and forecasting processes and capabilities.
  • Partner with IT to ensure Enterprise Solutions has databases and tools available to easily report and analyze complex financial data with an ability to divide data into smaller parts and examine more closely or in different ways to understand trends or where the business is or is not against profit.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
  • Enhance accounting and finance processes for automation, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting principles and bank requirements.
  • Lead special projects and ad hoc financial analysis, such as research, valuation analyses, and decision support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in business with focus in Finance, Accounting,or related quantitative degree. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience.
  • Proven leadership experience, that may include managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and research skills
  • Practical written and verbal communication skills; able to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and effectively present information to all levels of employees and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented to ensure deliverables are submitted in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel.
  • Firm understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Ability to travel 10-20%.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of OneStream or a similar financial consolidation tools.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $177,490 - $221,862 per year plus eligibility in annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options.
