Chemical Tablet Packager

Needs 2 people, food background preferred but open to training the right person.

There is a big opportunity to grow with in this organization as they are going to be doubling in size and building a 2^nd location. Also, note this is a very dusty position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packaging machinery to package chemical tablets in containers, boxes, or bags.
• Weigh, count, and inspect tablets for quality and consistency.
• Label packages accurately with product information, batch numbers, and safety data.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety and quality protocols.
• Perform regular checks on packaging equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Keep accurate records of production and packaging activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or chemical handling environment preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment:

• Exposure to chemical substances (with safety precautions in place).
• Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• May involve standing, bending, and repetitive motion.
