JOB PURPOSE: The main purpose of the HR Partner is to guide employees through human resources procedures and answer general questions about the organization's policies and procedures. Performs technical and administrative duties in assigned human resources program areas using various applications. This position may generate reports for compliance to analyze data, metrics, and identify trends/deficiencies in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provides support to the Operations team; collaborates with the HR Administrative Assistant with other administrative duties and tasks such as handling inquiries via email, phone, or in person; distribute Operations mail distribution, VOE's, faxes, and other written correspondence. * Supports the recruitment, hiring, and development of high-value employees and helps identify and develop future leaders within the organization. * Help manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations into employee complaints. * Provides expert advice to management on various HR-related issues, performance management, and employee development. * Works to improve work relationships, boost employee morale and engagement, and promote a positive and inclusive work culture. * Assists Operations team with resolving issues, concerns, questions, projects, tasks, audits, and may refer customers to other appropriate resources in the organization. * May assist with performing periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed/uploaded appropriately in the Human Resources Information System. * May generate reports for special tasks and/or projects for Operations team or Leadership as needed. * Prioritizes and manages workload to meet critical deadlines with daily interruptions and changes in priorities with ongoing daily tasks, assignments and/or projects. * Ensures compliance with all processes and always maintaining a high level of confidentiality. * Handles all administrative duties for Operations team, including entering data into HR Information Systems (HRIS) and may assist with auditing for accuracy and compliance. * Respond to Ask Here inquiries as assigned and may assist Operations team with researching and responding to complex inquiries. * May be responsible for records and information management focusing on data accuracy, quality, and integrity of the information in the HRIS; responsible of the recordkeeping of department policies and procedures and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). * Generates bi-weekly and monthly reports to assist with analyzing and correcting HR data, metrics, identify trends and/or deficiencies in the HRIS system focusing on I-9's, terminations, SOC codes, WC codes, EEO data and other HR data. * Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources. * May assist with assigning 60/90-day and annual performance reviews. * Demonstrate exceptional customer service, in everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client first to support our mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families and their communities." * Other duties as assigned. CORE COMPETENCIES: * Teamwork * Customer Service Focus * Inclusiveness * Stewardship * Communication * Critical Thinking * Quality Improvement ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: An Associate's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred; or a combination of education and experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. EXPERIENCE: minimum 2 years Human Resources experience, prefer 3+ year's experience; and 1-2 years HRIS experience required, with 1-year Paycom experience preferred. ATTENDANCE: This is an in-office role. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion. LICENSES: A valid State driver's license with a clear record; must maintain a clean driving record; and must remain insurable under our Company's policy. Motor vehicle reports (MVR's) may be conducted annually. VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice. OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must be available and willing to work occasional weekends as required to meet business needs.
