Job Summary

The Data Analyst is a member of the Market Insight and Forecasting team who provides innovative and value-added customers and market insights leveraging a variety of data sources and sound analytical skills. This position will generate market insights that support effective performance measurement, decision-making, tactic development within marketing, sales, market access and other commercial functions. This includes but are not limited to quantitative data analysis of shipment and script and claims data that guide key business decisions related to marketing strategy, forecasting, reimbursement / access, sales and life cycle management. The position will support dermatology indications pre- and post-launch. This position reports to the Senior Director of Market Insights and Forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

* Subject matter expert for multiple data sets used in forecasting, quantitative analysis and performance assessments (i.e., claims, EHR, shipment data, demand data, patient longitudinal data, other secondary sources)

* Create strong and robust quantitative analyses that help inform strategy in collaboration with Product Strategy, Market Access, Medical Affairs and Commercial Operations team

* Analyzing and evaluating IQVIA pharmacy script and medical claims data, such as NSP/NPA, NPA MD, and LAAD to assess product performance and market dynamics

* Effectively communicate business performance and address business questions through the creation of automated visuals from secondary data

* Effectively manage multiple ongoing data analytics projects and be able to deliver analytics and reports in a timely manner to stakeholders

* Ensures appropriate compliance and legal requirements are incorporated and reviewed in a timely manner

* Independently and effectively prioritizes and manages multiple analytic requests and deliverables in line with business priorities in a fast -paced environment

Minimum Requirements

* Demonstrated extensive quantitative experience Secondary (Prescription, Sales, Claims Data etc) research studies and analysis that deliver actionable insights for pharmaceutical products

* Strong quantitative analytical capability and critical thinking skills

* Able to conceptualize and build an analytic plan, mine through data to uncover relevant insights and develop clear and concise presentation of results and compelling business recommendations

* Advanced knowledge of programming (i.e., DAX, SQL)

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint required with ability to develop compelling data visualization and content

* Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering or related degree)

* At least 1-3 years of analytics experience in pharma or biotech preferred

* Dermatology market knowledge and experience preferred

* Flexible and nimble, easily adapts to changing priorities as needed

* Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically to attend research, conferences and other events
