Our Team

Molex is growing in the Optical Solutions Business Unit and is seeking a Business Development Intern to join our team this summer within the Fiber Optic Connectivity Group. If you are looking for a way to accelerate your career and be part of a great company, this may be the opportunity for you. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with highly dedicated professionals at Molex and bring your experience and knowledge to be recognized as a BDM within the Fiber Optic Connectivity Group.


What You Will Do

  • Support the Molex Sales team by learning about Optical Connectivity products and assisting with proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Collaborate on customer and market research to understand applications, needs, and target segments.
  • Help track industry trends, competitor activity, and identify opportunities for Molex solutions.
  • Assist Product Management and Marketing teams in developing assets, campaigns, and documenting customer requirements.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to gain hands-on experience in business development and customer engagement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering, business, or related technical degree program
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

  • Prior internship/co-op experience


For this role, we anticipate paying $27 an hour.
