What You'll Do

IronArch is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the Data Analytics, Measurement, and Ecosystem Strategy (DAMES) initiative within Veteran Experience Services (VES). The Senior Data Analyst will lead the ingestion, modeling, and analysis of operational and experiential data, refining CX measurement frameworks, and producing clear, insight-driven artifacts that guide VA leadership and product teams. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that decision-making across the VES portfolio is data-driven, Veteran-centered, and outcome-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data ingestion and modeling from multiple VA operational and feedback sources into enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop and refine CX measurement frameworks, aligning metrics to VES and VA strategic priorities.
  • Design, configure, and deploy enterprise surveys that capture Veteran and staff experience data, ensuring alignment with target audiences.
  • Engineer dashboards and reporting artifacts (PowerBI, Medallia, or similar) to deliver actionable insights to product teams and VA leadership.
  • Visualize system architecture and integrations to contextualize data flows, operational performance, and user impact.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques (including NLP and AI-driven methods) to survey and operational data to surface trends and track change over time.
  • Collaborate with VA product owners and line managers to integrate insights into ongoing decision-making, backlog prioritization, and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with VA's security, data governance, and accessibility (508) standards in all analytical outputs.
Requirements
  • Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)

Preferred Experience

  • 6-8 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or CX measurement, ideally supporting large-scale federal programs.
  • Strong proficiency with enterprise analytics and survey platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Medallia, Qualtrics, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and configure surveys and link survey outputs to operational dashboards.
  • Experience working within the VA data ecosystem (Summit, CXI, VEIS, or other VA platforms).
  • Knowledge of data modeling techniques, including SQL-based analysis and pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with NLP, AI, and advanced statistical methods to analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback data.
  • Skilled at visual storytelling through clear dashboards, diagrams, and reports consumable by both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, delivering iterative analytical artifacts aligned to sprint goals.
  • Exposure to federal IT compliance requirements, including data privacy, Section 508, and security policies.
