Auditor

Requirements for internal applicant:

• Approval from your supervisor is not required to apply for any position. However, you must tell your supervisor of your intent to apply.
• Talent Management will consult with the current supervisor to ensure that the employee has good attendance, is in good standing and not on any Corrective Action plans.
• A minimum of two weeks must be provided to transfer into a new position. Some departments are more flexible depending on the nature of the job, and notice may be negotiated between current and future supervisors. Talent Acquisition will coordinate the transfer between departments.

We are currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Sun Loan team. The Auditor will plan and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits throughout the organization in accordance with applicable auditing standards, reliability of data, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The successful candidate will direct or train branch staff according to company operating procedures and be responsible for reviewing audit findings with Branch Manager, DM's, RM's and VP's.

• Perform all phases of audits, including planning, completing work program, reporting and follow-up activities.
• Identify risks, audit objectives, and control activities.
• Evaluate business risks and design audit work to satisfy control objectives.
• Prepare and/or reviews audit findings and recommendations.
• Analyze and finalize audit work and communicate results in writing to department management.

Requirements:

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year accredited college or university preferred.
• 6 months+ experience required.
• Fundamental knowledge of consumer compliance regulations, the Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending, and BSA/Anti-money laundering related regulations required

This position will be remote but does involve travel. Must be willing to travel 10% - 20% by plane and/or vehicle in addition to overnight hotel stays.
