Description
As the Ward Apprentice, the student will work with members of the Ward Society to plan, prepare and carry out events for both the Ward Society and the pre-health professional students at Lipscomb. These responsibilities will give the student the opportunity to hone leadership skills and interact with some of Lipscomb's most distinguished alumni and guests. Managing the following initiatives that connect pre-professional students with healthcare professionals. These include Physician in Residence program, Professional Office Hours of healthcare specialists, the Bison Doc Mentoring Program, attending the Monthly Sunday dinner conversations hosted by healthcare specialists and helping students to effectively interact with our health care professionals. Preparations of the Annual Ward Society Dinner. The job requires the student to be familiar with CANVA, Microsoft office, and zoom operation. Education: Junior Biochemistry or Biology Major (pre-med) Skills: Both Written and oral communication May be federal work study eligible. Equal Opportunity Employer
