Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. As a Pharmacy Technician In-Training, you will receive comprehensive, hands-on training from experienced Fred Hutch pharmacy staff while preparing to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam and earn your Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) registration through the Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission. Under the immediate supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will learn to perform the duties of a pharmacy technician in accordance with WAC 246-945-203 and WAC 246-945-315, which allow pharmacy ancillary personnel to perform all duties except those reserved for pharmacists. Qualifications Required:
Pre-Employment Drug Screening: As a condition of employment Fred Hutch conducts pre-employment drug testing for this pharmacy role. All offers of employment in the pharmacy department are conditional on the applicant successfully completing and passing a drug test in accordance with the Fred Hutch policy. The hourly pay range for this position is from $26.48 to $37.70 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
