About the Job:

As a Director of Media Strategy, you'll be the driving force behind our data-driven media planning approach. You'll work closely with our team of experts to develop innovative solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and drive real business results. As a representative of our agency, you'll showcase your expertise in strategic media and channel planning to win new business and grow our client relationships. And with your passion for data-centric insights and innovation, you'll help fuel our agency's continued growth and success.

A Day in the Life:

  • Assess client briefings and category dynamics to develop customized media strategies.
  • Utilize available resources to lead the development of integrated, data-driven media strategies and channel mixes.
  • Evaluate geographic, market-level, and audience nuances to determine winning strategies.
  • Analyze content needs, targeting approaches, and high-value audience identification and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to develop data-grounded strategic recommendations.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and Account teams to develop plans for existing and new business clients.
  • Present media assignments and recommendations to clients in live meetings.
  • Represent the media team in new business assignments, crafting compelling media strategies and approaches.
  • Develop and present succinct, data-driven stories in PowerPoint to summarize agency media strategies and approaches.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • 8+ years of integrated media planning experience, with a focus on pharmaceutical clients.
  • Proven track record of developing end-to-end media plans and strategies that drive client results.
  • Experience working with media vendors, publishers, and buying models, with a focus on strategic planning and insight-driven recommendations.
  • Ability to work across multiple therapeutic categories and patient types, with a deep understanding of strategic nuances and planning considerations.
  • Strong new business development skills, with a high degree of comfort and confidence in presenting to senior agency staff and clients.
  • Data-led approach to uncovering target and behavioral insights that drive well-reasoned recommendations and inform media strategies.
  • Ability to adapt communication styles to different situations and audiences, with a focus on clear, compelling, and persuasive presentations and recommendations.

Salary

$130,000 - $170,000 annually.
