Full-Time Instructor Electrical, Construction and Maintenance HV-FAC-8810
(Position Is a full-time Tenure track Position) Spring 2026

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from an accredited college or university and four years hands-on experience in an electrical construction and/or maintenance related (or) Bachelor's Degree in Career and Technical Education from an accredited college or university plus two years of hands-on experience in the electrical construction and maintenance field (or) Bachelor's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university and an Electrical Journeyman's Certificate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The Electrical Construction and Maintenance program is looking for a full-time instructor that specializes in the areas of residential and commercial wiring, with knowledge of alternating and direct current theory, motor and industrial controls, and solar/photovoltaic systems. The Instructor reports to the Department Chairperson of Applied Technologies and performs the following duties:

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Instructor will report to the Department Chair and perform the following duties:

* Provide instruction in Electrical Construction and Maintenance at the college's North Campus in Malta NY.
* Evaluate student performance.
* Participation on departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported.
* At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary for Fall 2025 academic year position is $52,500.00.
