Description Overview Park Bank is seeking a dedicated, hands-on, and adaptable Facilities Technician to join our dynamic Security & Maintenance team. Reporting to the ATM Services and Facilities Manager, this role supports the maintenance of our Park Bank Center and nine branches in the Madison area. We are open to hiring either an Intermediate Technician with at least 2 years of experience, or a Senior Technician with 7+ years of experience. Pay will be dependent on the level hired. As a Facilities Technician, you will assist with or lead the maintenance and repair of the company's facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems. The scope of responsibilities will vary based on experience level:
- Intermediate-Level Technicians will work under supervision, gaining hands-on experience and supporting senior staff.
- Senior-Level Technicians will take the lead on projects, mentor others, and manage more complex systems and vendor relationships.
Location: 1815 Greenway Cross, Madison, WI 53713 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 3:45 pm, with evenings, weekends, and holidays on call as needed (may change based on staffing needs). Requirements Essential Functions & Duties General Responsibilities (All Levels):
- Inspect, maintain, and perform general repairs across facilities and grounds.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Drive company van to Park Bank Center and branch locations.
- Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, and door fixture maintenance.
- Respond to after-hours issues as needed.
Intermediate-Level Focus:
- Assist trades with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and network cabling.
- Work under supervision to learn and apply maintenance standards.
- Support senior technicians and contribute to team projects.
Senior-Level Focus:
- Lead inspections and resolve issues raised by associates.
- Perform advanced carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work (including boiler and chiller systems).
- Install and maintain security cameras and network cabling.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee project execution.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience (Intermediate-Level):
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems.
- Above average mechanical abilities and familiarity with hand/power tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reside within 30-45 minutes of Park Bank Center.
Required Education and Experience (Senior-Level):
- 7+ years of related experience.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Ability to work independently and lead others.
Preferred Education and Experience (All Levels):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship or progress toward journeyman status in HVAC or electrical.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
