Our client is a leading supplier of building materials and they are looking to hire an Information Services Finance Analyst to join the IS Finance and Asset Management team. This team reports into the VP of Infrastructure and Security and as such the ideal candidate would have an accounting background with a curiosity for Information Service and Technology. The Analyst will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts supporting the operating and capital expenditures of the department. This individual will quickly and effectively process a variety of payment mechanisms: payment vouchers, purchase orders and reoccurring entries. The Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, IS Asset and Finance. A typical day for a Financial Analyst may include: *Processing invoices: including researching, obtaining approval, coding, and entering into an automated Payment Voucher application *Creating Purchase Order (PO) requisitions, communicating with PO stakeholders and receiving PO lines upon confirmation *Establishing New Suppliers and managing communication between both the vendors and our client *Researching payment discrepancies and tax concerns. Requesting proper tax forms and certifications and managing communication between our client's tax department and the vendor *Overseeing the daily, month-end, and year-end responsibilities for accounts payable and procurement processes *Skills* Finance, Financial analysis, invoice analysis, erp system, servicenow, vendor relationship, excel pivot tables *Top Skills Details* Finance,Financial analysis,invoice analysis,erp system,jd edwards,servicenow,vendor relationship,excel pivot tables *Additional Skills & Qualifications* accounts payable and procurement processes You may be a good fit if you: *Are familiar with AP processes, invoice research, vendor communications *Have excellent Excel skills: including xlookups, pivot tables, matching and embedded formulas *Comfortable in an office setting and a self-starter *Knowledge of Information Services terminology oJD Edwards (or an ERP) oEsker oServiceNow experience *Database work and Acrobat form creation *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
