This role will focus on Microsoft Exchange Online (O365) and related technologies, ensuring a secure, reliable, and high-performing email environment. The ideal candidate will also serve as an escalation point for complex operational issues, bringing expertise in email security solutions such as Proofpoint, Cisco IronPort, or similar platforms, along with experience integrating with ServiceNow for IT service management. Key Responsibilities: *Engineering & Architecture oDesign, implement, and optimize enterprise messaging solutions leveraging Microsoft Exchange Online, hybrid configurations, and related O365 components. oLead migration and integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, and platform transitions. oDevelop and maintain messaging policies, compliance configurations, and transport rules to meet business and regulatory requirements. *Operational Excellence oAct as a tier-3 escalation point for complex messaging incidents and service requests. oPerform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions for recurring issues. oMonitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks or capacity concerns. *Security & Compliance oAdminister and optimize email security appliances such as Proofpoint, Cisco IronPort, or equivalent tools. oImplement anti-phishing, spam filtering, and data loss prevention measures. oCollaborate with security teams to ensure email systems meet compliance and audit standards. *Process & Automation oDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, engineering documentation, and change management processes. oLeverage ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management, ensuring accurate and timely updates. oIdentify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications: *Required Skills & Experience o7+ years of experience in Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and Online/O365) engineering and operations. oProven expertise in Exchange hybrid deployments, migration strategies, and advanced troubleshooting. oStrong knowledge of DNS, SMTP, transport rules, and mail flow architecture. oExperience with email security platforms such as Proofpoint, Cisco IronPort, or similar. oFamiliarity with ServiceNow for incident, change, and problem management. oDeep understanding of security, compliance, and retention policies in O365. oStrong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting. oExperience in Power Platform is a plus. *Preferred Skills & Experience oExperience with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online integrations. oExposure to Azure AD, conditional access, and MFA policies. oKnowledge of email archiving solutions and eDiscovery. oFamiliarity with mergers and acquisitions from an IT integration perspective. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
