Job Description:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan by identifying the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timeline to include a critical path.
- Break down the project into manageable tasks, assign responsibilities, and allocate resources effectively.
- Regularly update the project plan to reflect progress and any changes, ensuring clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track project performance and ensure alignment with the initial goals.
- Defines logical functional requirements that trace back to the business requirements, in collaboration with the lead developer for technical design
- Formulates logical statements of business, scientific, and or engineering requirements
- Develops Functional Specification Document Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Technical Specification in close collaboration with technology peers
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solution for the system's design considering existing systems, available technology, the capacity and limitations of equipment, operating time, and the form of desired results
- Works with development, operations, technical support, and other technology areas as appropriate throughout the design and development project phases
- Designs a detailed systems testing plan to ensure an accurate and effective product
- Prepares charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems, utilizing, if necessary, various business, scientific, and or engineering mathematical techniques
- Analyzes existing system logic difficulties and revises the logic and procedures involved as necessary
- Helps define projects, milestones, critical path
Qualifications:
Experience working on complex projects that require gaining stakeholder buy-in and directing stakeholder participation

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of the transformation initiative usingthe Waterfall methodology (not Agile).
- Develop and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, and collateral.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including:
- Engineering (perimeter/edge security)
- IT support
- Policy exception managers
- Change operators
- Manage project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Organize and lead meetings; set agendas, document minutes, track action items, and hold stakeholders accountable.
- Serve as the communication broker between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create and maintain effective stakeholder communications, including:
- Executive presentations
- Project updates
- Documentation
- Manage and contribute to knowledge management resources, including:
- Confluence public project pages
- SharePoint documentation
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Project Management background (PMBOK, PMP-style discipline)
- Experience managing technical and infrastructure-related projects
- Ability to manage high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable with challenging personalities and managing conflict or derailment in meetings
- Strong ability to keep meetings on task and redirect discussions when necessary
- Exceptional at translating technical concepts into stakeholder-friendly presentations
- Experience with Confluence and/or SharePoint for knowledge management is a major plus
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Nice-to-Have Experience (In Order of Priority)
- Technical project management experience, particularly in IT infrastructure
- Security domain experience, especially perimeter security or proxy technologies
- Insurance industry experience (least important of the three)
