Job Overview

SUMMARY

The Supply Tech Senior is responsible for the management of Children's Hospital Colorado central supply inventories from receipt to primary stocking locations located in customers units. Required to have good customer service, act as a shift or area lead, and perform project-based work to support departments goals. This position may be required to work overtime and holiday's to fulfill customer requirements.

Shift: Days. Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Maintain and safely operate all equipment need to perform job tasks including handhelds, pallet jacks, carts, and carousels.
  • Receives product upon arrival, confirms quantity, inspects, and ability to sort and put away or deliver product when necessary as defined by departments standard processes.
  • Ability to read production schedules and provides replenishment of all internal and external department managed storage locations. Includes ability to fill requisitions through various order and delivery types through departments standard processes.
  • Performs department cycle counting and outdate procedures for department managed inventory locations both in warehouse and customer supply rooms.
  • Identifies, evaluates and develops customer inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system. Provides inventory control and replenishment of all department storage locations through various restocking models. Maintains replenishment model information, including monitoring the accuracy of weekly data, history, network changes, lead-times, past and future promotional events, new product information, pricing, and customer service performance goals.
  • Perform supply chain activities related to product receipt, warehousing and inventory management, through various replenishment and distribution modalities, to ensure availability of product while minimizing costs. Maximizes the efficiencies of shipments and able to schedule outbound shipments while properly labeling materials with necessary information to ship product.
  • Ensures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems including all department cycle counting and outdate procedures for all storage locations. Coordinates and performs scheduled count inventories of assigned areas and provides analysis to Supply Chain Leadership and department management for the adjustment of inventory levels as appropriate of all central supply managed locations.
  • Resolves issues when they arise with customers, as well as problems between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers to ensure planned arrival of product.
  • Leads, coordinates and provides operational direction to supply team as needed. Responsibilities may include coaching, training, monitoring and performing as a shift lead. Acts as liaison between customer, sales, customer service and suppliers. Coordinates and manages vendor deliveries and outbound shipments of product exiting the hospital. Advises on trends or shifts in demand that could impact service levels.
  • Provide customer service to all clinical, business and support staff.

SCOPE AND LEVEL

Guidelines: Fully qualified, full performance or journey level. Guidelines are generally but not always clearly applicable, requiring the employee to exercise judgment in selecting the most pertinent guideline, interpret precedents, adapt standard practices to differing situations, and recommend alternative actions in situations without precedent.

Complexity: Duties assigned are generally complex and may be of substantial intricacy. Work assignment is performed within an established framework under general instructions but requires simultaneous coordination of assigned functions or projects in various stages of completion.

Decision Making: Exercises judgment and discretion, and is responsible for determining the time, place and sequence of the work performed.

Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, defended, and gathered and discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.

Supervision Received: Performs work with minimal supervisory oversight. Under general supervision, the employee receives assignments and is expected to carry them through to completion with substantial independence. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standard practice or precedent. Recurring work clearly covered by guidelines may or may not be reviewed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE - Minimum (3) years of relevant experience

Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $24.48 to $36.72
