IT Program Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:



  • Maximize the value for one or more products, at the program level in a scaled Agile model
  • Assist in defining the vision and roadmap for the program, prioritizing the features/epics in the backlog, and articulating this to stakeholders and dev teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with products owners to ensure they are aligned on priorities
  • Support and collaborate with the product portfolio executive on financials throughout delivery
  • Show expertise on the products, business or technology domain, and the industry in which the product competes
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the book of work and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
  • Communicate the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners, and the teams
  • Provide input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
  • Articulate business value to product owners so they understand product and strategy
  • Ensure alignment across product roadmap to achieve portfolio objectives
  • Create and prioritize features/epics in the program backlog
  • Empower to make decisions about trade-offs with emerging work versus planned work
  • Refine features/epics with the product owners to ensure there is enough ready work for the upcoming 1-2 quarters
  • Review and accept features/epics and is empowered to make decisions on scope and requirements
  • Work in partnership with the product owners and the teams to ensure that maximum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business and industry trends
  • Define the vision and roadmap for productivity products services across the collaboration and productivity (CAP) product portfolio
  • Productivity service includes enabling end user self-service, asset inventory management, asset lifecycle configuration management, IAM compliance, reporting and analytics for the product
  • Create the vision and roadmap for automation services based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
  • Define and prioritize the features/epics in the automation program backlog and articulating this to both stakeholders and development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and with other CAP Products Owners to understand their needs, ensure they are aligned on priorities to achieve portfolio objectives
  • Support and collaborate with the portfolio product executive on financials throughout delivery
  • Maintain oversight on delivery to ensure timely and relevant outcomes
  • Drive continual service improvement based on data/metrics and user feedback
  • Facilitate evolution of suitable application support and dev ops model for automation products and services


Requirements:



  • B.E/B. Tech/ M.C.A/M. Sc.
  • Any BA Certifications
  • 7 - 10 years' of experience as a Product Manager
  • Previous product management experience
  • Expertise in managing large/complex product rollouts
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Agile methodologies
  • Financial management
  • Microsoft 365 Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Power Platforms
  • Virtual meeting services
  • Email/chat services
  • MSFT office suite services
  • GraphAPI for Microsoft cloud service resources


Desired skills:



  • Knowledge on JIRA, SDLC, data sources and querying
  • Technical knowledge and experience in M365 suite of products
  • Exposure to work on end user issues and resolution
  • Experience in finding problem items and conducting RCA
  • Expertise in SharePoint on-prem and SharePoint Online
  • Able to interact and co-ordinate with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Able to assist with the business cases and understanding stakeholders expectations and objectives


Pay range: $54.54 - $62.54
