New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a resource for a 4-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation: $38.00 per hour OVERVIEW OF POSITION Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, gas systems and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, such as sinks, water heaters, hot water tanks, and water according to specifications and NJ plumbing codes. Essential Functions: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues Install and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related equipment Repair or replace broken pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and other water-based heating systems Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems and fixtures Respond to emergency plumbing situations in a timely manner Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in commercial Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. High school diploma or GED required. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends for emergency calls.
