Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our Mack in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'll get:
  • Pay: $16.00/hour + 10% shift differential = $17.60 per hour
  • Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd shift, Monday - Friday 3:30 - 11:30 PM)
  • Length: Temp to direct

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Assembler is responsible for performing subassembly, assembly, and all conformal coat paint processes on a variety of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical assemblies, working from engineering drawings and work instructions for the client.
  • Reports to the Production Supervisor.
  • Apply masking tape to all specified areas per masking procedures and visual aide instructions.
  • Verify the integrity of taping requirements to be applied to PCBs.
  • Accurately inspect the condition of incoming product.
  • Identify and report defective masked areas to the Group Leader.
  • Inspect your own work to ensure placement accuracy and completeness of the work performed.
  • Operate conformal coat automated machinery as part of the assembly process.
  • Apply conformal coat repairs on PCBs as needed.
  • Perform stripping, conformal coat, masking, touch-up, and bonding requirements on repair and overhaul units.
  • De-mask and inspect boards following the coating process for any defects and touch up as necessary.
  • Use calibrated equipment and machinery as part of the assembly process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on re-work, repairs, and modifications.
  • Bake circuit board assemblies and restock supplies as needed.
  • Assist with testing and NPI (new product introduction) as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve department-related issues.
  • Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job-specific procedures.
  • Maintain ESD integrity within the production environment.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the work-in process associated with the work cell.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area and the surrounding workspace.
  • Participate in Quality team meetings, as necessary.
  • May train other employees.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with high-volume work.
  • IPC-A-610 certification.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in coating application/manual spray environment.
  • Manual spray and respirator certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards.
  • ESD Training.
  • Ability to use various hand tools (pliers, rulers, cutters, and pneumatic tools such as torque drivers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers).
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to interpret print, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Basic computer, problem-solving, delegation, and workstation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
