Speech Therapist-Per Diem

Regions Hospital has an opening available in our inpatient rehab department. The SLP per diem weekend position will serve patients on acute floors of our Level 1 trauma hospital as well as patients admitted to our 21-bed CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. Experience in swallowing evaluation and treatment, cognitive/communication evaluation and treatment for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and complex medical and/or trauma preferred. There is a requirement to work 2 weekend shifts per month and 1 holiday per year. Additional weekend or weekday shifts are available based on volume/demand. We provide a thorough onboarding experience to all new hires and work collaboratively as a team to achieve strong patient outcomes.

Work Schedule:

2 weekend shifts per month and 1 holiday/year minimum.

Ability to pick up additional weekend or weekday shifts as volumes allow.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology.

• Licensed/registered/certified with applicable governing Speech Language Pathology board(s) and Minnesota Department of Health.

• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in similar setting/diagnoses

• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
