Job Summary Management of the assigned fusion services support team (fusion technicians) in the delivery of rental equipment and technical fusion services. Oversee the in-shop scheduling and maintenance of assigned fusion equipment. Direct and problem solve equipment and tech service issues for direct reports and staff. Select, train, develop, and oversee the fusion technician team. Facilitate fusion training for both internal candidates and external contractors. Maintain training records and provide opportunities for re-qualification as needed. Develop and implement best practices for machinery maintenance and repair. Supervise the fusion equipment mechanic. Work with fusion equipment and tech services managers from other HDPE facilities to develop and implement best-practice strategies. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
