Department Summary The Department of Preclinical Research Services at the UNT System College of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth, ranked among the top 50 medical schools for seven consecutive years, the UNTHSC is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city's Cultural District with a local economic impact of $500 million annually. The UNT System College of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy school in Texas located on an academic health science center campus. Position Overview The Preclinical Research Service Department is seeking a skilled Business Coordinator to support administrative and financial operations. Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents using Word, Excel, and other software. Answer and route phone calls, greet visitors, and manage correspondence. Attend meetings and record minutes; coordinate agendas, catering, and travel arrangements. Manage onboarding/offboarding, ePARs, payroll, and employee documentation in collaboration with HR. Order laboratory supplies and equipment, process procurement card requests and fixed assets. Assist with pre- and Post-Award administration, budget analysis, and financial reconciliation. Maintain records, databases, and general office operations. Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental needs.
