Starkey is seeking a driven, results-oriented Legal Specialist to join our expert Legal department and provide support across a variety of domains. This role will involve varied work, ranging from corporate transactions and governance to confidentiality agreements, patents, and trademarks. You will need both an eye for detail and an ability to comprehend how pieces fit into the big picture. Relevant experience would be helpful, but our expectation is that many of these legal specialist skills and company-specific knowledge will be learned on the job. The successful candidate will be a good communicator and a quick learner who enjoys a challenge and a positive, collaborative in-office work environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS Support corporate counsel and intellectual property counsel in day-to-day legal tasks. You will be both an integral part of the legal team, with responsibility to serve clients and meet deadlines, and also an ambassador, with the ability to forge and manage relationships with coworkers in Minnesota and across the globe. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements Education: Four-year degree preferred but not required. Experience: Experience in a corporate or law firm setting is preferred but not required. Experience in a legal department as a paralegal or administrative professional is a plus but not required. Competencies, Skills & Abilities
The hourly rate for this position is between $27.02 / hour - $35.10 / hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
