Your Role As a Gensler Architect, your job is to combine creativity and technical knowledge to help guide our clients. You have developed communication and team-building skills which have prepared you to manage projects. In this role, you will have opportunities to develop your existing strengths in design and technical coordination while also beginning to directly manage client relationships. What You Will Do Provide project team coordination for finished plans, specification, and material selections; ensure design intent is incorporated into the construction documentation Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of project Participate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during construction Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives Utilize hand and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts Demonstrate knowledge of the building code and zoning code to advise clients and team Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants Support communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges Maintain project manual and specifications Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI's during construction Your Qualifications Registered Architect required Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program 10+ years of related experience, including success on mixed-use, hospitality, sports, workplace interiors, or education projects LEED accreditation and experience preferred Revit mastery or other BIM experience required Outstanding knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures Proficient and confident in public-speaking, and in moderating large teams of consultants, contractors, and clients Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients, and with other key constituents TO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE SUBMIT A CURRENT PORTFOLIO AND/OR WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT This position is in-person.
