- Hybrid Work Environment: Enjoy the flexibility of both in-office and remote work. During training, a minimum of three days in the office is required. After training, expect two to three days in the office per week.
- Work Hours: Flexible scheduling is available, with a preference for a 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Experience Requirements: Strongly preferred experience with Dynatrace, PRTG, and Uptrends. Familiarity with monitoring and analyzing Microsoft Cloud solution applications is also highly valued.
What will YOU be doing for us? The Senior Application Performance Monitoring Engineer is to lead technology projects and initiatives with application and cloud infrastructure teams to build and mature observability, dashboards, synthetic monitoring scripts, and leverage APM tools to diagnose causes of performance degradation. What will YOU be working on every day?
- Lead identification of monitoring and observability gaps by building relationships with application and cloud infrastructure engineers.
- Collaborate with and provide expertise to Application/Infrastructure/DevOps teams to build, implement, and tune dashboards, scripts, and alerts to achieve observability and monitoring business goals.
- Consult with application and cloud infrastructure engineers to mature their ability to self-service implement monitoring and observability capabilities for their platforms.
- Maintain On-Prem and Cloud Monitoring solutions including installation, patching and upgrade activities.
- Work with Operations Leadership to produce metrics and report on forecasted demand, capacity, and overall system health for On-Prem and Cloud Monitoring Solutions.
- Implement changes into production environment following change control methodology
- Subject matter expert on specific technology domain.
- Serve as problem-solving partner and cross-train others.
- Proactively manage availability and scalability.

- 5+ years of experience working within Monitoring and APM technologies
- Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
- Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
- Understanding of security implications of domain
The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range. Compensation Range: $91,528 - $137,292 Compensation Midpoint: $114,410
