We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in Kenosha, WI. You'll be part of a collaborative group of six technicians supporting over 400 users across the site. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in desktop support within a mid-to-large sized organization, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical issues with a service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities * Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. * Use SCCM or Intune to image machines, deploy software updates, and manage endpoints. * Set up new users, including hardware provisioning, account configuration, and onboarding support. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows 10 and Office 365 environments. * Perform hardware swaps, upgrades, and repairs as needed. * Maintain and update asset inventory and documentation. * Collaborate with team members and escalate complex issues when necessary. * Ensure timely and professional resolution of support tickets and service requests. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience in desktop support within a similarly sized organization (400+ users). * Proficiency with: * Windows 10 and 11 * Office 365 * Active Directory * SCCM or Intune (for imaging and deployment) * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications * Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field. * Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. * Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
