Short Description

The Center for Healing within Cooper University Health Care is a leading Addiction Medicine provider in New Jersey, serving as the Southern New Jersey Medications for Addiction Treatment Center of Excellence (SNJMATCOE). This role will support the work of a grant-funded Statewide telehealth program for evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders by managing a variety of grant and project related activities. This will include:

  • Managing ongoing projects and new initiatives within the Center for Healing's program portfolio of varying degrees of complexity and risk from inception to successful completion.
  • Manage all aspects of project planning, launch, and implementation of the rapid-referral telehealth platform
  • Serve as the central point of contact with NJDOH
  • Working with stakeholders and other health system partners to build and maintain statewide referral networks, provider scheduling, and dissemination of lessons learned
  • Ensuring grant deliverables are met according to funder contracts
  • Working with data analyst to develop data collection processes and ensure the submission of timely and accurate reports to funding agencies.
  • Support performance improvement efforts
  • Tracking all grant related expenditures and monitoring the use of grant funds against the approved project budget.
  • Identifying and sourcing potential grant revenue opportunities that match the goals of the Center for Healing.
  • Preparing grant applications and proposals for submission to government, foundation, and corporate entities.
  • Managing special projects including development of new projects
  • Does not directly supervise staff, but will lead work of the team, and may supervise staff in the future.

Experience Required

3 - 5 years' experience in community-based project planning/management, organization administration, grant management, or related work.

Knowledge, experience and success in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to the Division of Addiction Medicine, Division of Addiction Medicine project and grant operations, organization development, partner satisfaction, and change management.

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required; strong oral/written communication skills, including diplomacy and the ability to work with all disciplines, levels, and backgrounds, is also a must.


Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in public health, Public Administration, Public Policy, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field.

Hourly Rate Min $29
Hourly Rate Max $50


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
