Job Title Sales Development RepresentativeJob Description Job Title: Sales Development Representative About Us: People Inc. is America's largest digital and print publisher, reaching over 175 million people every month. Our Content Licensing team curates and licenses content from across People Inc.'s portfolio of 40+ brands for use by clients in their owned and operated digital and print environments. We combine our editorial expertise with data and insights from across People Inc.'s network to deliver top-quality, budget-friendly content solutions to power clients' websites, apps, marketing campaigns, social channels, and more. Position Overview: We're seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help generate new opportunities and expand our client base. You'll prospect, qualify, and set meetings for the Content Licensing team-and share feedback that informs how we go to market. The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, and energized by researching industries and positioning solutions that fit. The ideal candidate will be adept at prospecting, cold calling, and identifying potential partners interested in licensing content. You'll be supported by a collaborative group, and you're expected to take initiative and operate independently after onboarding. You're comfortable with phone outreach in addition to email, social, and video. Travel to industry conferences and events will be an integral part of this role. (What exactly is content licensing? Here's a real world example. Let's say you're a health system looking for fact-checked, medically-reviewed content to support patients on your digital portal. Instead of creating new content from scratch, you can save time-and ensure premium quality-by licensing expert-crafted content from award-winning health brands, such as Health and Verywell.) In-office Expectations: This position is fully remote with no in-office requirements, (might require coming into an office 1 or 2x a year).
