Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Seed Distribution Coordinator to oversee seed distribution from our Mifflinburg and Emmaus, PA locations. In this role, you'll ensure our fleet operates efficiently and within compliance standards while managing drivers and collaborating closely with our operations team. You'll play a key part in delivering high-quality service to our dealer network and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Seed Distribution: Manage all aspects of seed delivery logistics, including inter-company transfers and custom mix shipments. Work closely with the mixing and warehouse teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Driver & Fleet Management: Schedule and supervise company drivers, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with the sales team, customer service representatives (CSRs), warehouse staff, and mixing department to support operational goals and fulfill special customer requests.
  • Customer Support: Become familiar with our products and dealer network. Support the customer service team to help address and fulfill unique customer needs in coordination with sales reps.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Partner with warehouse and operations teams to meet internal performance goals.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions throughout the year.
  • Assist with various tasks and projects as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or vocational training preferred
  • Proven experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn internal systems quickly
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel periodically to NY
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
